Introduction I am a collector of Peter Brown memorabilia and information. I had of course seen Peter on Lawman and Laredo, in various tv guest appearances over the years, in the Hayley Mills movie Summer Magic. I was collectiong other people at the time and lost track of him. He wasn't gone, just doing Soaps, not my favortie thing. I met Peter in 1995 at the Hollywood Collectors show in Studio City, Ca. I would see him from time to time after that at the Collector's show, charity tennis tourney's and the Golden Boot Awards. Then at a time when I was looking for someone new to collect on that I could know personally, instead of just see films, tv or concerts on, without ever meeting, there was an incident at the 2001 Golden Boots that made me check into more information about Peter. I ran into his official website, run by a past client of mine, and decided this man was very interesting indeed. So, in the Fall of 2001 I began my collection. Since that time I have bought, sold, taken more pix of Mr Brown than I thought possible. I now have 5 good sized scrapbooks full of material, and am always searching for more. If you have anything on Peter Brown in your colletions, attic, basement, garage that you are willing to part with or copy, please let me know. I am now writing a book on Peter, as I could not find any during these years I have been searching for material.  top 
Mini Bio Peter Brown was born on Oct.5, 1935 in NYC,NY. His father died when he was 4 years old. He has one older brother Phillip and two younger half brothers, Paul and Michael. His Mother was a well known Radio actress Mina Reaume, she remarried Albert (Bud) Brown and Pierre Lind de Lappe became Peter Brown. He worked on radio from age six to nine.They moved to California when Peter was nine, moved to a mountain ranch when about eleven. Graduated from high school in Spokane, Wa. at age 17. Went into the Army, where he put together a little theatre group. He was discharged, took drama at UCLA for a semester, got little theatre work in LA. Was discovered and sighned to a Warner Bros. contract in 1957. In 1958 on his birthday, Lawman debuted. His contract with Warners ended in 1963 and he signed with Universal. In 1965 he did Laredo for them. After his contract with Universal finished he spent seven and a half years on Days of Our Lives, then did another decade with 4 more soaps to his credit; Young and the Restless, Loving, One Life to Live and Bold and Beautiful. During all these years he was also doing films, tv movies and tv series guest appearances. He still does movies and occasional guest appearances. He also does a lot of personal appearances at collector shows, festivals, rodeos, horseshows. He has always been very athletic, eats good, stopped smoking early on and is in excellent condition. Plays tennis, golf, swims, rides and several other sports. Competes in most of these. He has been married and divorced five times, and has two sons, and three grandchildren. Peter currently is about to go into production on a pilot for a new tv series called "Hollywood,...Oklahoma" a comedy-drama-western, filmed on location in Oklahoma with co-stars, Ken Farmer and Buck Taylor. It will have recurring roles for his friends; Mike Moroff, Robert Fuller, Jennifer Savidge and more. If this sounds intriguing, take a look at his official site, listed below. My Favorite Collectables The things in my collection that I am most proud of are: An Austrailian mini Lawman comic, a poster from Gentle Savage with the original title Camper John. An original photo of Peter and Sammy Davis from the Danny Thomas Hour tv episode The Enemy, the show itself is missing and if anyone knows anything about it or has it please let me know, as Peter would like a copy for his personal collection as well. The above photo is of Peter during his Lawman days, it's from a Japanese magazine. I am now listed on Peter's official website as the person to contact for photos and autographs.
