about me : : my collection : : fan files About My Collection I have been collecting on Alex McArthur since 1989. I have just about all his movies, tv series, guest roles, interviews, etc. on tape. I have many photos, newspaper & magazine articles, etc. I have helped Brenda Kennedy with items for her official website for Alex. Many of the photos and tapes I can duplicate for other fans. The above photos are just a few that I have available,and if anyone wants a tape or photos of Alex please contact me at MSE4Celebs@aol.com I have never met Alex, but am informed that he is very nice and friendly with his fans when he does meet any. He is a very private person and doesn't attend many Hollywood events. I have hopes that he will one day do a cowboy festival or event, or get a Golden Boot Award, or do a Hollywood Collector's Show, and then maybe I would be able to meet him. Mini Bio Alex was born Alex Bruce McArthur in Sellersville,Pa. on 3/6/57. He has two sisters, Susan & Robin. His father is a contractor and mother Delores a housewife. He was raised in a cabin in Telford, Pa. near the Appalachian Moutains, where he learned to ride on his horse Brandy. He went to Souderton Area High School. When he was 18 he had his left ear pierced, and still does, though he can't wear his gold ring in all of his roles. He left home at 19 in a van to see the world and ran out of money in San Jose, Ca. where he went to DeAnza College. His drama professor told him to move to NYC to study acting. In 1978 he studied at Herbert Berkoff School of Actiing. And to support himself at that time he tended bar at Club 54, and had a construction business. He was discovered by Chan Sam who was Elizabeth Taylor"s press agent and she brought him back to LA. He has been with his lady Tammi Kravi since he met her at a Pizza Palor in 1984. They have four chlidren. They live in the San Fernando Valley. Alex originally screen tested for the Duel McCall role in 1984, but wasn't picked until after they saw the Madonna video. It was originally supposed to be a weekly series, but they couldn't get the quality they wanted in that short of time. Alex is 6', 170 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes. Alex favortie hobby is his motorcycles, he attended the Black Hllls Classic in 1993, and has a 1960 Panhead Harley in his collection. His ancestory is Scotish, German, Swiss. He has several tattoos, 4 that are covered up while playing many of his roles. He prefers rock music, his favorite color is black, and he likes red meat, tomatoes and pasta. He likes westerns and sci-fi movies, and has many favorite actors and actresses. He does critically watch his own work, like rodeos, hunting, fishing & boxing on tv. If he wasn't an actor he might be a writer. top
